The UNA-USA Hawaii chapter started the Sunflower Peace project to spread a message of hope and inspire youth in our communities. Planting sunflowers symbolizes our shared desire for a more peaceful world - their tall stems and bright yellow petals represent people uniting across divides. This initiative brings residents of all ages and backgrounds together through gardening, sharing stories, and appreciating the vibrancy sunflowers add to our neighborhoods. Our goal is that tending the soil and watching the sunflowers bloom will seed optimism among Hawaii's children while encouraging meaningful connections.

Celebrate a positive future by giving time, money or social media support to the UNA Hawaii's inspiring Sunflower Peace project.
